Photograph Slideshows
Photo slideshows are a specialty at Lowe Productions. Using your photographs and other family records you choose & paired with your selected music and the mood that you want to create, we weave them all together into a one-of-a-kind professional video production that can be the centerpiece of any occasion. Your memories will come to life.
A typical photo slideshow will last from approximately 3 to 30 minutes and contains between 30 and 200 photos and 1 to 6 pieces of music. We can also add captions to your pictures and title slides to further personalize your project. All of this comes to you as a high definition digital download or as a DVD and personalized case.
Photo prints, negatives, drawings, certificates, awards, letters, etc. must be digitized by scanning them into a computer file format. All Lowe Productions slideshow packages include scanning at no additional charge! If you choose to do this on your own, see our photo scanning tips below for suggestions on how to get your photos scanned at optimal quality for montage presentation.
Rush processing (48 hour turnaround time) is available for an additional charge. Please contact us before sending your materials to make sure our work schedule will allow us to process a rush order.
Standard shipping of completed project is via USPS Priority with delivery confirmation. Overnight delivery is available at an additional cost. Contact us for a price quote.

Ordering Your Photograph Slideshow / Montage
Gather all of the pictures that you want to use. Try to choose your best pictures when possible. Keep in mind that while small problems can be corrected, imperfect or out of focus pictures may not be flattering to your project.
Thinking of the mood that you want to create, decide what order they should appear in the montage and use Post-It Notes to number the back of each photo in the sequence. DO NOT write on the back of your pictures, as this could cause damage. Place the set of photos in a Zip-Loc bag labeled with the name of the song you would like to play during the montage. If you would like more than one song, you should use a separate bag for each piece of music and the photos that should be used with it. Label the bag with its order in the montage and the song title.
If sending digital photos, you may either send them on a CD-ROM, flash drive or the media card that your camera uses. Digital photos may also be uploaded directly to us. We can provide you with the instructions. Label the picture file names in the numeric order they should appear in your project.
You may pay by PayPal, check or money order. Keep in mind that checks must be held for at least 5 -7 days before your final project can be shipped to you.

Photo Scanning Tips
If you wish to scan your own photos to submit, please follow the recommendations below to provide the best results.
~ Clean the scanner glass with a soft lint free cloth to ensure it is free of fingerprints, smudges and dust. ~ If the photograph is in a picture frame or photo album, carefully remove it before scanning. If portions of the original photograph are stuck to the picture frame glass or album page, do not attempt to remove as you run the risk further damage. Scan these photos directly through the glass or sheet to try and get the highest quality image possible.
~ Always handle photographs by their edges, avoid touching the picture area of the photo. It is best to wear clean cotton gloves.
~ Scan your photographs at 16 million colors RGB or higher, even if they are black and white.
~ Scan at 300 dpi (dots per inch). This is very important, no scan should be less than 300 dpi for optimal quality.
~ If your scanning software includes a sharpen or any other automatic correction option, please be sure that it is disabled.
~ Save files as JPEGs, use the highest quality (minimal compression) options.
~ When scanning photos for a slideshow project, be sure to change file names numerically in the order in which they are to appear in the slideshow.
